Corporate Art Source offers Fine Art Appraisal Services in accordance with the ethical guidelines of the American Society of Appraisers and the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice. The principal, Jean Belt has served as President and Vice President of the Alabama Chapter of the American Society of Appraisers. She has 20 years experience in producing appraisals, and has completed 120 hours of course work both from George Washington University and the ASA in appraising personal property. In addition, she has attended seminars in New York City, Taos, NM, and London to broaden her base of knowledge and experience. She is qualified under the IRS Guidelines to perform Appraisals for Charitable Donation and Estate Purposes.
Appraisals can be used for the following reasons:

Insurance purposes (replacement value)
Estate purposes (Fair Market Value)
Charitable donation purposes (FMV)
Sales advice (market value).

CAS Gallery Fine Art is an extension of Corporate Art Source, a fine art services firm located in midtown Montgomery. We represent several collections, artists estates, and regional artists including the Kohn Collection of Soviet Realism and Russian Impressionism, the estate of Chicago Imagist Roger Brown (1941-1997), the estate of master print maker Richard Zoellner (1908-2003), and well established regional artists such as Beau Redmond, Dale Kennington, George Taylor, Karen Jacobs, Mary Ann Pope, and Susan Downing-White. CAS is also engaged in buying, selling, and brokering art of the American South; especially mid 19th –mid 20th century artists with Alabama ties. Including New South Art members Charles Shannon, Crawford Gillis, and John Lapsley; and Dixie Art Colony members such as Kelly Fitzpatrick, Carlos Moon, and Mildred Nungester Wolf.
